While the shiny new DARTSLIVE 3 machines can be (accurately) summarized as “MUCH FUN. PLAY NOW.”, it would be an injustice to describe them in so few words. Of course, we’re not intending to bore you either with its technical upgrades (though there are a ton of those too); instead we’ll cover some of the coolest features you can look forward to the next time you decide to walk over to one of these cheerful contraptions.

To start things off, one of the first things anyone will notice along with the sleek new appearance is the dual-screens. 

It’s a good time to be seeing double. 

Far from being a mere aesthetic decision, the 2 screens serve to provide the player with a new set of functions while improving on the intuitiveness of the old. The bottom screen is essentially a touch screen menu, replacing the old buttons AND reducing the potential neckaches from having to look up every time you needed to start a game or change a setting. The new menu is also designed to be clean and straightforward, with the controls feeling very crisp and smooth. 

The player change button is still available in-game, but you will hardly have to use it now. The auto-change feature has you covered; all you need to do is grab your darts off the board and the next player will be good to go. 

And giggle at the older players fighting their muscle memory to look for the change button after every turn. 

While the top screen remains largely the same (albeit with upgraded LIVE EFFECTS and THEMES) during a game, the bottom menu will also show updated statistics as you play! From your average PPR to darts’ speed, it works with the DL3’s stunning refinement of the board’s target sensors to provide better visual feedback and information. 

Did you know? The previous DL2 Sensors worked according to blocks (e.g. Single 16 sector was one “block”), but each spot that you hit on the DL3 machine is linked to its own individual sensor. We took the term pinpoint accuracy very literally with this one, and this innovation has given rise to a multitude of other inventions, the most enjoyable of which is the new range of games!

From fan favourites FISH TRIANGLE and WALL BREAKER to the new range of Party Games, enjoy a fresh darts experience as you experiment with all the new toys! For those wanting a more technical practice session, you will want to check out the precision focused games like SKILL CHECK or CENTER COUNT-UP. 

Constantly frustrated with missing the BULLS by ONE DOT?? This game might be the most awesome thing about DL3.

There’s always the default x01 and Cricket games for the players wanting to keep it simple, with new THEMES, AWARD MOVIES and LIVE EFFECTS available for collection again. There’s also a bunch of digital content never seen before, but we’ll not spoil all the surprises for you.
